MARCONI TM9954 LOGARITHMIC AMPLIFIER

The Marconi TM9954 Logarithmic Amplifier is designed for swept frequency applications, expanding the dynamic display range of detected signals and presenting this range on a logarithmic scale. Each equal factor of change in the frequency input level produces an equal increment of change in output voltage, allowing for linear calibration of the oscilloscope display. The amplifier operates in both logarithmic and DIRECT modes, with the DIRECT mode used for calibration and eliminating the need to disconnect the instrument when the logarithmic function is not required
